Is there a contradictory argument for every opinion? If so, would it be fair to say that to form an opinion one must first understand the contradictory argument? Without such understanding an opinion would be just a thought.
Opinions are not facts, which makes them subjective. They require context, which makes them relative. These properties make opinions easy to create, difficult to communicate properly, and quite hard to destroy.
To digress a bit. Different opinions can co-exist, but only one will be used to drive actions. Choosing one opinion over another won’t destroy the latter, it just makes the former preferable.
With all that in mind, our lives are a game of persuasion where we, every day, realign with those who share our opinions to conquer the ones who don’t.
Needless to say, this is all an opinion.
